- hearsay not acceptable in "sightings" nor his actual condition
This is regarding emails sent
this weekend that were not put on the mykindredspirit.home.att.net website:
Modified excerpts of that sent
late Sunday morning [05/11/03] > Subject: May be an emergency [modified]:
"[I heard about] a
scene in which Dave was hurt but the police told EMT's to get away from
Dave. He [the person who told me about this] said that the police were doing things to Dave, possibly hurting
him more. I heard that it was the police department that originally responded
to my 911 call for help on 8/16, and is the department that recently contacted
my family, including my 76 year old mother, to try to talk them into being
made conservator of me.
I don't have the whole story
yet and neither does
[the person who told me about this]. He is waiting for a call to find out what
happened
[after the EMTs left the scene],
how Dave is, etc. and then is supposed to call me back to let me know.
There is still a chance that
this is a bogus story made up to tell me of something horribly permanent
that happened to David that would cause me to stop trying to get him out
of this situation. Because I am not family, it may be difficult for me
to get medical information, or other information about what may have occurred,
through regular channels.
I want to be able to act as
soon as I hear back from this person. . . . . ."

just before I left for town that night [05/10/03]> Subject: Status re: May be an

"I still don't know
what's happening. [the person who told me about this] never got back to me, although he told me that
he was hoping to call me back within the next two hours of that approx.
11:15 am call. When I've tried to call him back, there is a systems message
that he is either not available or left the calling area.
In my calls to others to try
to get some information, someone called back saying "I think you're worrying
too much." But that was someone who, the other night, asked me where Dave
lived, so still may not have a handle on all of "what's going on."
(Most probably, he's not "living"
anywhere. He most likely is being kept at different places, to prevent
him being found!)
Has anyone been able to at least
check out the EMT [part of the] story?
I'll be in town earlier tonight
and will try to get in all three places of my Sunday night routine. One
is the place I saw Dave last Sunday. He was extremely intimidated, but
it may be that he just didn't recognize that "friends" were there until
when it was almost time to leave. BTW - it'd be better if questionable's
including Rn and T-da, not be there. I'm also starting to sense that
he
may not be sure if he can trust G (ref 02/1/03 - Performs with him
[not on web site] ) even though he may, actually, be okay.
Dave HAS to get out of this
situation SOON ! ! ! ! !! "
[Particularly
due to what was said about Dave talking to Josh, there
is a very good possibility, if the story about this
"EMT incident" is true, that it was Josh
who had caused injury to Dave so severe that Dave required
medical attention. However, there are a number of
other possible things that could have been done, instead
or in addition, to Dave to have been severe enough for
Dave to be obviously in need of medical attention.]
