Although I didn't remember having it until the following week, this flyer was given to me on either the night of Tuesday, 08/06/02, which was the night of the "initiating" sexual assault on Dave, or on Wednesday 8/7/02, which was the night before David's abduction of 08/08/02, technically early morning 08/09/02. [Click to view actual document] I've never been able to figure out if this was "just done," or if it was done to relay a message to me, and, if so, whether it was supposed to be a threat message or an "heads-up."

On 7/21/02, Dave told me that he was being "contracted out" to Laura and Rus and he let me know that he was very upset about that. He also said that he'd been contracted out to them for 2 weeks earlier that summer.
Heively's 50th birthday was on 7/25/02. Laura Joyner evidently had a number of people involved in planning and holding a "special" celebration for Bob. There is reason to believe that what was additionally done to Dave had something to do with Bob's birthday, possibly as part of a "special birthday present" for him.
08/09/02 Dave is abducted into total control
The night of his abduction was also the night I learned of Tuesday night's assault and the night the queen bee [Laura Joyner], in a very amused way, let both my Dave and I know who had carried out that assault. (Note: The restaurant named on this flyer was no longer in business by this time.)
