Summary
of the orders:
Waterford
Police Initial Report 2002-02873 states that criminal charges
may be brought against me if I try to contact Stonington Police
Department. In the actual visit by Waterford
Police, I was told that I was also not to contact Groton
Police. This in the midst of trying to reconcile:
-
Dave's
abduction including conflicting or "suspicious"
stories from police as to Dave's whereabouts and safety and, as part
of
those efforts, attempts to have his situation properly investigated
-
08/16/02
- Stonington Police arrest incident in
Mystic, Stonington, CT.
-
08/26/02
- Stonington Police Incident including the $512 bill associated with
that incident, which I received just after these "no
contact" orders are issued, and which Stonington
Police had assured me they would pay, which was part of the
condition I stipulated in agreeing to the exam, but, upon receipt of the bill,
I learn they have refused to do so.
What
led to these orders:
How these
orders were carried out
Sunday,
September 08, 2002
Within
about an hour, approx 2pm, two officers
from Waterford (see notes) arrived at my
door. They said they had to ask me a few
questions first. I told them I wanted to
get a pencil and paper and did.
Their
first question was of the name of my
doctor. I asked them why they were asking,
telling them that I think I'd finally
convinced Stonington to take this matter
seriously last Monday, Labor Day, when I
said, "Even if you think that I am a
raving lunatic, what I suspect is going on
that even if there is only a 1% chance
that it is happening, you should be
looking into it."
I then said that I
considered questions regarding my health
to be harassment. They emphasized that it
hadn't ever been asked about by Waterford
- safe, huh?
They said that an
investigation into the complaints I'd made
had been complete and that I was not to
contact the Stonington not Groton Police
Dept again.
In talking, I realized that
they did not know of my arrest nor
anything of the story. I explained it to
them. I also told them about the false
charges that had been made against me and
that I'd just told Lt Stewart that I hope
those will be nollied.
I also told them
that the FBI has been called and that it
depended on what happened at court. They
asked on what and I told them on false
arrest, failure to keep my friend safe,
failure to keep me safe, because threats
had been made against me and even should
have been recorded on the 911 call I made.
( I could gone on. I may have said failure
to respond to my complaint.)
I told them
that I'm not expecting the police to
pursue the investigation of my friend
because they D f- it up so already.
Told
them of the town trying to find Dave for 2
days, holding vigil with me as we got
information, only to have me arrested, Lt
Curioso appear and call me a "drunken
crazed junky."
And that they then
returned him to the people holding
him.
Also explained how I was not
looking into this as a third party because
what was happening to Dave was in direct
retaliation of me.
