right: A statue of the Virgin Mary outside St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church was the only thing left standing after an explosion destroyed the Colchester church early Friday morning.  Several religious objects valuable to the church were recovered by firefighters and investigators.  The cause of the blast is still under investigation.
